Auntie and Uncle Update

Well, the roof is done! We're still waiting for the final inspection and WRITING THE BIG UGLY CHECK.

I got to "evacuate" the dogs for a couple days, so they wouldn't have to sit at home and listen to the banging all day - yup, that translates into an opportunity to see my adorable little nephew!

Brian also got to meet him for the first time - and hold a newborn for the first time too. He did great (and has even whispered slight notions that it will be neat to be a daddy some day - BIG SMILES FROM THIS CHICKY!!)
