The company I work for has an employee pumpkin decorating contest every year. The public votes on their favorite and the winning department gets a pizza party. It's lame - I know... but we really have fun with it! Unfortunately, last year the contest was cancelled due to the recovery from hurricane Ike, but the year before that, my department actually won!
This year, since I'm with the golf course, we designed a mini golf course called "Haunted Hallow Mini Golf" - there's three holes, the first one is a windmill with a bat on it, the second one goes into the pumpkin, and the third one goes through the "ghosts in a graveyard". The public votes this weekend - there are some GOOD competitors this year!
