Party Time

We attended the graduation party of Brian's cousin's wife over the weekend - it was great to see them and give congratulatory hugs - after all, she obtained her Master's Degree AND recently announced they're expecting!!!

We had a good time, the food was Deeee-lish, and it was fun to see the family again. In classic Anja-fashion, I brought along a little game to play.

Joe and Steph Trying Not To Drop the Apple!!!

Everyone paired up and each "couple" got an apple. The apple had to be held between their foreheads, while we called out "actions" they had to perform... things like "Take three steps forward"... "Trade places with the couple next to you"... "Turn around in a circle"... and "Hula hoop in place until the count of 10"... use your imagination! The goal was not to drop the apple.

I recommend this game be played OUTSIDE, actually, to avoid dropped apples leaving juicy prints on the floor and to make sure everyone has enough space... but unfortunately after we ate some weather moved in so we did our best to play inside. It was fun though.
