Just got word via Galveston Daily News that the federal government has extended 100% funding for removing Hurricane Ike debris and the city has announced they WILL allow city crews to cut down dead trees on PRIVATE PROPERTY for FREE!!!! This will save us $2-3k getting our giant cottonwood tree removed. WOW!
